Discover the Joy of Music at Snohomish County Music School

Founded in 2019 by Kathryn Kibbe, Snohomish County Music School was born from a passion for teaching and a desire to fill the need for string instrument lessons in Snohomish County. Kathryn, known affectionately by her students as Miss Kat, began as a solo violin and viola instructor, quickly growing her studio to 45 students per week with a growing waitlist. Seeing the demand for more music education in the area, she expanded her vision to create a school that could serve a broader community with a variety of instruments.

Today, Snohomish County Music School continues to grow, offering private and group lessons to students in Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Everett, Marysville, and beyond. We are excited to expand our offerings and bring even more instructors and instruments into our school, creating a diverse musical experience for all.

Kathryn is not only passionate about teaching and building a growing music community - she also lives life to the fullest. When she’s not in the studio, you can find her gardening, fishing, lifting weights, or spending quality time with her dogs, Ollie and King, and her boyfriend Daniel. She believes in being a well-rounded individual and encourages her students to find joy in both music and other personal passions.
